Reflux

This is one of the more revelatory set of findings – an overwhelming number of EA patients suffer through lifelong reflux issues. In six of the seven European countries for which we received survey data, more than 50% of respondents report recurring reflux problems. And, it’s clear that there is little to no truth to the hopeful observation that EA patients will “outgrow the reflux” as they get older. The chart below shows how reflux continues to be a problem later in life regardless of whether the patient is taking anti-reflux medication.
