3D medical animation on tracheoesophageal fistula Repair

Thanks to Covenant Health for this great animation on the origins and on the consequences of esophageal atresia.

This 3D medical animation shows a tracheoesophageal fistula in which the esophagus has an abnormal connection to the trachea. The animation explains the normal development of the esophagus and trachea, as well as how a tracheoesophageal fistula and esophageal atresia form. The effects of the fistula on the lungs are shown. Key steps of the operation to repair a tracheoesophageal fistula are depicted.
